Episode 1: The War.

There was once a boy named Lucifer. He was a normal boy, but he had no father. His father had run off when he was just a baby. He lived alone with his mother. One day, when he had reached a certain age, his mother gave him something his father had left behind for him. It was a book, and a sword. The sword was a powerful weapon, capable of cutting anything, even solid steel, and the book was a book of spells unlike any other. Lucifer looked, and the book said to only try each consecutive spell if you had cast the one before it. Simple enough. The boy quickly set off on adventures, meeting many people in his travels. Slowly he worked his way up the list of spells, untill he was at the last one. He had never looked to see what it was, but when he did, his jaw dropped. It was a formula for immortality. Soon he had cast it. He was soon doing things no mortal would dream of, and was quickly recognized by everyone in the world as the most powerful man ever. Then he vanished. He left behind only memories, and two children, a boy and a girl. These children were born together, but seperated at birth.

The boy was named Bartuc. He was an angry boy, and never really got along with anyone, but he loved to tell jokes. He always fought and never yeilded. He was cold and mean, and no one much liked him intill they had spent alot of time with him. As he grew up, he grew an amazing talent for magic. He was soon refuted as a great sorcerer, and left his small home village. He began a brutal ascent to power, and soon ruled over a small kingdom, and weilded a strong, but small, army of magic users. His was a land of wide spread evil, and he went unchecked in his ascent. It was known as the land of Mordia, and was left to it's own. Untill the war.

The girl was named Belle. As a child she was the nicest and most gentle person you'd ever meet, and all the boys wanted her. She was a gorgeous young lady, and soon blossomed into a beautiful woman. But she was tough. All her life she was a great fighter, beating any opponent she came accross. She soon became renowned as one of the best fighters of the land, and became lead knight of the White Dragon knights, of the land of Malchor. When the king of that land passed, he left no Heirs, and left his entire kingdom to his cheif knight. She soon launched a campain against the evil land of Mordia, and an epic war began.

Soon the two lands were locked in a war, the two rulers unaware of their shared heiritage. people of every kind flocked to the two armies, some for greed or want for power, and some for a hate of evil, or just for the sake of fighting. But the fates had plans for these two children of an immortal. Many oracles could sense the upcoming event, whatever it might be. It was something big, and they could all feel it.

This is a story of various adventurers and warriors who have joined one of the two armies, for whatever reason, and their adventures. The character sheet should be as follows:

CHARACTER SHEET

Name: Any name is accepted, but if it's funky, please give a pronounciation guide.

Race: Any and almost all races are accepted. if your think your idea is wild, don't. I have had people play as dragons, and I highly doubt you'll think of something stupid enough to get me to reject it.

Class/Abilities: This is where you put your class, title, rank, what have you. Again, almost anything is okay, but I'm a little more strict on this one. Feel free to make someting up. Also list special abilities here, such as lockpicking, or flight or whatever.

Appearence: At least one full paragraph to detail what your character looks like. If you want you can substitute a picture, or do both.

Personality: Are you a nice guy? Are you a bad, baaaaad girl? Just describe anything you want to mention about your personality.

Morality: Your morality consists of two words. The first is either Lawful, Neutral, or Chaotic. The second is Good, Neutral, or Evil. If both are neutral, it's "True Neutral."

Religeon: Any god or deity you feel like worshipping, preferably from the D&D universe. If it's one you made up, or most people havn't heard of, give a brief desciption.

Loyalty: Are you a Mordia spellcaster? A malchor knight? are you in between? Neither? A drifter? A loner? You tell me.

Backstory: at least two paragraphs about who you are, and why you are where you are, and why you are with whichever country you are loyal to. Childhood optional.

Weapons: Any and all devices found on your person designed to hurt others. Please be in depth, but no minimum length.

Items: Any and all items found on your person that are worth mentioning.

Magic items: Any magic items you might have. At least two sentences for each one.

Misc: Anything special you want to add, like fears or things that anger you.

RULES.

1. All posts are to written like a book: Past tense, third person. All actions are normal text, "Speech in quotes", thoughts in italics, ((And out of character stuff in paraenthasies)).

2. DM's word is law, no arguing. If i say something is true, it's true. That's just how it's done. If I make a mistake, however, please point it out.

3. Make sure your character acts how he is supposed too. Don't pick lawful good, then go punch a person in the face. If your character is good but mean that's fine, but make sure he's not overly mean, or whatever the situation might call for.

4. NO GOD MODDING! Don't make your character stronger then he should be, or he'll find a strange boulder crashing down on him from the sky.

This is supposed to be played in parts, and all the history and such above will be covered in depth in later episodes.

I eagerly await your characters.

Name: Orpul

Race: Golem

Class: Protector, specializes in high defense and defensive magic

Appearence: A goldish humanoid built from a solid yet unidentifiable substance.

Personality: Mostly kind, generous, and helpful but short-tempered.

Morality: Nuetral Good

Religeon: NA

Loyalty: Drifter

Backstory: A golem seemingly born from nowhere this being goes wherever it please and helps the weak and needy, it searches for a master.

Weapons: Fists (attacking) Magic Crystal (casting spells)

Items:
Medicine X 2
Magnifying Crystal (Equipped)

Magic items: Magnifying Crystal, this item is Orpul's greatest treusure. Not only is it a powerful magical item but supposedly it belonged to his original master. The Crystal can magnyify the power of Orpul's white magic so that it targets the entire party.

Misc:
Orpul's skills:
Minor Healing (heals a party member somewhat, can target entire party with Magnifiying Crystal)

Minor Protection (increses party member's defense somewhat, can targe entire party with MC)

Quick-Guard (rushes in to block a party member from harm, hurts Orpul however)

Mega-Guard (prevents more damage than a regular guard, this becomes a status effect for Orpul and the Mega-Guard status remains with him for several turns until he must refresh it.)

Lure (draws all physical attacks to Orpul)

If those are too overpowered feel free to change them accordingly.

This is a perfect character sheet exept for a certain detail: You're phrasing everything as if this were Final Fantasy. It's not. Other then that, it's fine. Just be aware that being a golem will get you some funny looks from NPCs.

Did you get the name "Bartuc" from the Diablo book? Cause that is the name of the main character.
Also, Neutral is spelled wrong everywhere you put it.

Anyway,

Name: Silver

Race: Human

Class/Abilities: He is a Mage. Fights well with swords, and usually has both a staff and sword. He can summon goombas from Super Mario. (Nothing else to put, but that would be sweet)

Appearence: Black hair, tall, and usually wears something simple, like a tank top, or a t-shirt. Has lightly tanned skin, and blue eyes.

Personality: He is usually calm, but like pulling jokes. Very sarcastic.

Morality: Lawful, Neutral

Religeon: THOR (lol, no explanation needed)

Loyalty: Follows no one, but does what he likes and thinks is right.

Backstory: Parents both died when he was 10. Mother died when giving birth to his younger brother, and father died when going to war. He lives with sister, who was 16 at the time. Ever since then, he was trained by a powerful sorcerer in magic, literature, and sword fighting. Can fight exceptionally well with both staff and sword.

Weapons:
Blue Marine - Powerful staff, with a glowing blue jewel on the end.
Sword - Nothing special. Just a sword, not a rapier or anything like that.

Items: Any and all items found on your person that are worth mentioning.
Bandana - Black cloth tied around his head.
Sack o' Mushrooms - Full with various mushrooms that have different powers. i.e. Awakening, Poisoning, Speed Granting, Higher Jumps, Health, Stamina, Mana.

Magic items: Any magic items you might have. At least two sentences for each one.
Blue Marine (Previously Mentioned) - Can cast water spells with less mana than usual. Also can cast spells quicker, and is much more powerful.

Misc: Anything special you want to add, like fears or things that anger you.
Hates gays, and gets money by wandering, playing the guitar and singing. (Bard?)

FF was based off it's own original system, it has no direct ties to another one.

No, D&D is not directly related to any SNES games, except the D&D one. Please don't post so much off topic.

DnD on the SNES!? Is there a certain set up goal you have to follow? Is it like something you would see today, or is it like custom?
